I have been craving some dystopian, social commentary, scifi reading. Who comes to mind none other than Vonnegut. I’ve only read his book, “Welcome To The Monkey House” it was 3 or so years ago in an english class. The last english class I took in college. It’s a collection of short stories, I really loved it.
This week I chose to read his “Slapstick” because the description said it is set in the future when the US has fallen and the world is completely different. It sounded like exactly what I felt like reading! Yes, that sentence sounds strange to me, too.
I’m halfway through it. It’s a pretty quick read. The chapters are very short. The story itself is pretty short.
Have you read this book? Do you like Vonnegut? Tell me in the comments!
