Week 66 | See Through A Painter’s Eyes

I did a lot of processing to bring out as much information as I could. In Adobe Camera Raw I used fill light to bring out information from the shadows and I used recover to bring out information from the normally exposed parts. I like to think of this as forced-HDR. It can be really beautiful with nature shots and really really bad with people pictures! Doing so in this picture gives it the quality of a painting -even exposure.

In Photoshop I played with the white balance to get the white wall in the back blue. Since it’s in shadow the color temperature is different than that of the flower, which is also in shadow but in much more light. Using fill light in the Camera Raw editor really brings out color temperature values.
